Parent raises Money for Nottingham University Hospitals

Sara Lomas, parent of one of the Keyworth United CFC U13 girls, today raised an incredible £420.30 during a cake sale at Rushcliffe Arena. Bringing her total amount raised to an incredible £1,870 (as of 14:30 10/09/22).

Sara had initially planned to hold the cake sale today at Platt Lane during our weekly Wildcats programme on Saturday mornings. However, due to the sad death of our Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II and the the postponement of football activities over the weekend, Rushcliffe Arena kindly offered to host the cake sale.

Sara had the following to say regarding what was a tremendous achievement;

“I just wanted to share with you how amazing a community there is at Keyworth United. Today I have been so blown away with people’s kindness. I have literally come home and cried. Everyone who shared my posts and came today to support the cake sale and donated online and just been so lovely with their kind words are just the most wonderful people. Today the cake sale raised £420.30! Which puts the total raised for the QMC A&E department at £2250! I can’t thank everyone enough; together we have all just changed lives..”
